The award-winning magician Tristan comes to Tedx Crete with a unique talk – performance, entitled “The Magic of Rubik’s Cube”!
The TEDxUniversityOfCrete group on Saturday 05 April 2025, at the “Nikos Petridis” Amphitheatre at the Department of Mathematics & Applied Mathematics of the Vouton Campus, Heraklion, Crete, organizes the annual event on the topic “OPSISIS”.
TED is a global non-profit organization which, through 18-minute talks hosted at TED conferences, promotes “ideas worth spreading”. The “x” in TEDx denotes the self-organised nature of the events which include short talks, performances and workshops covering a wide range of topics from technology and psychology to science and art.

There are many ways to look at the world around us, each person sees, judges and ultimately interprets it differently. What defines each person’s gaze is the perspective from which they look. The end result of that gaze can include our appearance, our reflection in the mirror, our view on a variety of issues.

In this multi-dimensional world, everyone lives a different reality through their interpretations, experiences and emotions. He “hides” behind facades to fit into the roles of everyday life, while at the same time showing his true self.
The aspects of human existence, of relationships, of society, of the universe: they are all intertwined and interact with each other.
Are not our ‘VIEWS’, after all, innumerable?
