The official premiere of The Man of Wonders took place on Sunday, October 18, at the sold-out Alkmene Theatre. It was an overwhelming success, bringing together the art of magic and the magic of real life in an unforgettable celebration.
The event was coordinated and organized by Sotiria Armeni, the show’s public relations manager.
The magical welcome began at the entrance, where Gina, Tristan’s close collaborator and student, greeted guests with impressive magic tricks and a warm smile. Inside the theatre, Nikiforos Rubinik was ready to take an active role on stage, carefully preparing the spectacular set and all the essential props that bring the show’s magical world to life. Maria Tsomi managed the sound and lighting, while the front-of-house team, box office staff, and the entire Alkmene Theatre crew all contributed to making this wonderful day a success from beginning to end.
The event was attended by numerous friends, supporters, and sponsors of the show, as well as representatives from the arts and the media. Among them were Nikos Eleftheriou from kallitheasi.gr; Maria Delogka and Katerina Deligianni from Kanali 1 Piraeus’ Kalitera oi Dio Mas; Eleni Tselliou from Magenta TV; Vicky Katsanaki from MEGA Channel; and the team behind the beloved momstories.gr. A special highlight was the presence of much-loved actor Johnny Theodoridis, who attended with his family.
One of the premiere’s very special guests was another true “Man of Miracles,” Ioanna Paliospirou. Not only did she honor us with her presence, but she also filled the stage and everyone’s hearts with her extraordinary strength and the incredible light she radiates.
The 4AMEA team also played a truly special and well-deserved role in the premiere. Its founders, Nena Chronopoulou and Tasos Mitropoulos, together with Christos, actively participated in the show, bringing their own little “angels” -Giannis, Giannakis, Georgia, and Iordanis- to the stage. They filled it with boundless energy. All the children from 4AMEA had the opportunity to step forward, speak, and sing, sharing an irresistible magic of strength, overwhelming emotion, and joy with the entire theatre and everyone in attendance.
Tristan captivated the audience with his wonderful stage presence. His astonishing magic delighted spectators and left them speechless, inspiring them to wonder what magic really is. With his unique energy, he made eyes sparkle and hearts race, ultimately taking the audience on an extraordinary journey to a world where miracles are real and magic cannot be explained – but must be experienced!
This magical experience reached its peak with the help of little Georgia, who joined Tristan for the finale. Standing beside him, she stretched out her little hands to touch the snow that filled the stage, creating a moment of pure poetic magic. Deeply moved, Tristan thanked her for giving him such an incredible moment, one that will remain forever etched in his memory.
Immediately afterward, the entire theatre, united and moved to tears, watched as little Georgia rose from her wheelchair and, with small but courageous steps, made her way toward the seats, spreading smiles and inspiring everyone with her strength.
Tristan himself said he was deeply touched and overwhelmed by the greatness of these children, emphasizing that their strength is the true source of magic in life!
Following this enchanting premiere, Pizza Fan, a proud supporter of the show, welcomed guests in the foyer with a delicious selection of its generous and flavorful offerings, bringing the evening to a beautiful close.
